Apple might complete its product releases for 2025 soon. However, GFHK Securities analyst Jeff Pu forecasts the company is gearing up to launch affordable iPhone, iPad, and Mac models in early 2026. Specifically, Pu predicts the release of the iPhone 17e in the middle of the first quarter of 2026.

While other rumors suggest a major redesign for the next generation of iPhone “e” models, Pu expects Apple to retain the previous design. The new model will likely feature upgraded internals such as the A19 chip, 8GB of RAM, and an 18MP front-facing camera. The main lens is anticipated to keep its 48MP sensor along with the familiar notch design. Interestingly, Pu notes that Apple will continue using the C1 chip but will not adopt the enhanced C1X 5G modem introduced with the iPhone Air. Alongside the iPhone, the analyst mentions the arrival of low-cost iPad and Mac models and a revised timeline for the iPhone 18 series.

Regarding the low-cost iPad and MacBook models, Pu does not provide extensive details. However, other reports reveal Apple plans to upgrade its base-model iPad with the A18 chip and 8GB RAM, marking the last iPad to support Apple Intelligence. For the affordable MacBook, rumors suggest Apple is preparing a laptop powered by an iPhone chip, though the exact specifications and design remain unclear.

Pu also updated his outlook for the iPhone 18 lineup, projecting updates to the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18, and iPhone 18e in early 2027. He expects these devices to incorporate the new C2 chip with a 5G modem and speculates that the iPhone Pro models will feature a smaller Dynamic Island. Notably, the iPhone Fold is predicted to forego Face ID in favor of Touch ID.
