Palworld’s highly anticipated Ultrakill crossover now has an official release date: December 17, 2025. Pocketpair first announced the collaboration with the fast-paced, ultraviolent retro FPS Ultrakill back in September 2025, initially teasing players could wield iconic weapons from the game. The latest trailer delivers a detailed look at the extensive crossover content and hints at the forthcoming full 1.0 update.
Home Sweet Home Update Introduces Ultrakill Weapons and Base Customization
The new trailer opens with an Ultrakill character demonstrating the fresh arsenal available in Palworld. These weapons feature unique mechanics like shots that can curve mid-flight to strike targets unpredictably, explosive damage, and the ability to deflect incoming attacks back at foes using coin projectiles. Alongside the weaponry, the Home Sweet Home update adds new base customization options, including the ability to paint your bases in different colors.
A dramatic shift towards the trailer’s end shows a massive Pal’s shadow looming over characters, accompanied by a thematic music change before concluding with “Palworld 1.0 – 2026.” This signals the game’s full release and departure from early access, with the 1.0 window announced earlier this year.
In related news, Nintendo’s patent challenge concerning Palworld is under USPTO reexamination, while an opposing Palworld patent was recently rejected in Japan.
